Why is my Ring Doorbell Pro trying to connect to an amazonaws server on port 6667?
My firewall blocked some communication between my Ring Doorbell Pro and an amazonaws server on port 6667. This is because port 6667 is not allowed on my network due to being [associated with malware](https://www.speedguide.net/port.php?port=6667). Port 6667 is also not listed as a [port used by Ring](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-What-Ports-Do-I-Need-to-Open-in-My-Firewall-for-Ring-Doorbells-and-Chimes-). This makes me not feel very confident about Ring. My doorbell is on a guest network and cannot communicate with anything except the internet thankfully.
