When replace ring camera should I hard wire it

I have a 1st generation ring. Its battery runs out within 3 months. How best can I upgrade to a better battery or to hard wire an updated version? Thanks for any advice.

Hi @user74892. There are no “better batteries” to upgrade to. There is only 1 battery. If you are experiencing frequent battery drains, upgrading to a hardwired version is a great option.
