Hello - I have just bought a RING hardwired Video Doorbell and on unpacking the box this thing is inside, it looks like a resistor or a diode or something , but I cannot see where it is supposed to go, I cannot see anything in the instructions about it ![image|690x310](upload://1z0vpqxoGfbwFVOIydmhD6ckqpW.jpeg)

Hi @andy_in_ireland. If you have a Doorbell Wired, this is likely the Jumper Cable. This is used to bridge the terminals on your internal chime kit to allow power to your Doorbell Wired.
