Ring Video Doorbell
Video Doorbell 3 Plus frequently stops working until I pop out and put the same battery back in
Hello. I have a Video Doorbell 3 Plus in addition to many other external Ring Cameras around the perimeter of my house. Most of these other cameras are hardwired, but I do also have one that is using a battery with solar panel. I am frequently having issues with my doorbell about 2 or 3 times (at least) per month. The doorbell will be working just fine one moment and the next it will stop responding to motion or doorbell presses. All other ring cameras which are at least double the distance away are still working fine. To fix, I have to pull out the battery, wait a few seconds, and then reinsert it. Note that it is the same battery when I'm doing this. It will then go through a cycle and start working again. I know the battery still has plenty of charge. This latest time, I checked the battery, and it was still 97% charged. I do also have an A/C adaptor hardwired to it to help keep the battery charged. I have 2 different batteries and it is doing the same thing regardless of which one I'm using. I confirmed the firmware and phone app is up to date. I am at a loss as to why this is happening with the doorbell, but all other cameras (again, at least double the distance) work just fine and I don't have any issues with them.
