Video Doorbell 3 detects motion outside of customized zones
My video doorbell 3 recently updated to allow for customizable motion detection zones. However, it keeps detecting motion outside of the zones. I am curious if anyone else is having the same issue?

yup, same here. the feature was working fine until i changed my wifi password and had to reset my doorbell. ever since then I get multiple notifications every time a vehicle passes by or any other motion outside of my set motion zone. I really hate it. it’s a problem. tried troubleshooting with ring support over the phone but the problem persists. oh and sometimes motion in my motion zone isn’t even detected! ha! seriously considering an alternative to ring. anyone have any suggestions?

Hi @jamesv. With this being a new feature, it could take a but of trial and error getting it dialed in. I would try adjusting the motion sensitivity and decreasing the size of the zone.
