Video Doorbell 2 - the resistor can be more than 25 ohm?
Hi, i wanna hardwire my Doorbell 2 without existing chime. The installation guide says I need wirewound resistor 25 ohm 50 W. I asked electronic shops around my home, but they only have 27 ohm 50w resistors. Does it good for my Doorbell 2? Thanks for answers

I wanted to do the same thing. I went to Amazon.com, and search for "25 Ohm, 50 Watt Resistor". There are a couple different kinds, and all says compatible with Ring doorbells. I ordered, [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WPW6N38](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WPW6N38), yesterday, Dec 26, 2019. It'll be here neext week. If I remember, I'll let you know how it works out.
