Video doorbell 2 battery and wired

Hello I bought the kit video doorbell 2 with chime in costco. The box came with the video doorbell 2 and I see it has the option to wire and install battery. Actually I removed the old wired ring bell and installed there the ring doorbell 2. However, also I installed the battery that comes in the box in the doorbell 2 at same time I have connected the wires of old installation. Here I have three questions: 1.-It damages or can cause problems if I install the battery and wired at same time? Actually I have like that and everything works perfect. 2.-The old wired installation can charge the factory battery for the ring bell 2? 3.-With just having the wired connection is enough to supply the ring video doorbell 2? In other words can I remove the battery? And to select wired if I need to use only wired, there are jumpers or any configuration to select only wired or is automatically detected just wiring and done? Thank you
