Hi, is there a way to change settings so it only applies to 1 user? I only have a ring doorbell, but several users in the household. I would like to set up motion detection for myself only. I am the main user. Is this possible? Thanks

Hi @RingStacy. This is not an option, as only the owner of the device can edit the settings, such as the [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) or turning motion detection on or off. These settings do not apply at an individual level, they are applied to the Ring device itself. With that said, [Shared Users](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/211018223-Adding-a-Shared-User-to-Your-Ring-Account) can toggle motion alerts on or off under Devices > Doorbell, as that is controlled individually for each user. That way they can still have shared access to the Live View, but do not have to receive motion alerts if they don't want to.
