Set Ring Doorbell Not to Recognize Me

Hello…I thought at one time there was a setting on the Ring app to set your Ring doorbell not to recognize you, but I have looked in the settings and can’t find it, and have googled and had no luck. Is this feature still possible? I take my dog out multiple times a day and would rather my app not notify me a hundred times a day. Thank you!

Hi @bigbluebacker. The setting you're describing is not a feature that we have had available. You're welcome to submit your idea to our [Feature Request Board](https://community.ring.com/c/products/24), but we do have the [Motion Snooze feature](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000047206-How-to-Use-Motion-Snooze-and-Global-Snooze) available that may be useful in this situation. You can activate the Motion Snooze before you take your dog out so you're not notified of the motion detection for a set amount of time. I hope this helps! :)
