Rssi on 2.4ghz vs 5ghz

Hi all , quick question, which network would I be better setting my chime pro to , 2.4ghz wifi gives Rssi -38 and 5ghz gives Rssi -47 obviously the 5ghz is faster , thanks

    @Edgie70 always better to use 2.4 for stuff like ring cameras as it has better penetration through walls. 5ghz is in theory faster but ring doorbells don’t actually need massive speeds and 2.4 is easily able to handle it.

      Hi @Edgie70. @bemak187 is correct! 2.4GHz has a better range compared to a 5GHz. 5GHz is great for devices with a line of sight to your router.
