Ring wired doorbell - cannot connect to new WiFi
My Ring wired doorbell has been working fine, I installed it earlier this year. I've now changed my wifi router so I need to connect it to the new network. When I follow the setup process for this it tells me that my transformer does not supply enough power and will not complete setup, the app tells me I have 9V transformer voltage, which I though was enough. Why should this be a problem now? All I'm trying to do is re-connect to new network. How can I get round this?

Hi @Caitlyn_Ring. Thanks for the reply. I'm attaching a doc with screenshots. What I really don't understand is why you cannot just select the WiFi router that you want to re-connect to, without it going through some validation of the whole device setup. I was able to re-connect the Ring Chime without any problem (and all other devices I have connected to my Wi-Fi). All I can think is that Ring are trying to sell us stuff we don't need.**Only allowed to send one file - will send two more screenshots separately**

PScreenshot 2.Even if my transformer is supplying 9V this should be enough as I am in ‘other regions’ (UK) which requires 8-24V.When I try to reconnect to Wi-Fi it again tells me I don’t have enough power and that I need to upgrade my transformer. Thus preventing me from re-connecting.

Thank you for sharing those screenshots, I shared them with my team and I'd suggest forcing a full reset of the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, try setting the Doorbell back up in the Ring App to see if it completes the setup and properly registers the power from your transformer. If that doesn't do the trick, you'll want to contact our support team for more in-depth troubleshooting support. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). Hi @peter_s. Would you mind sharing a screenshot of this message in the Ring App? If you have a different smartphone or tablet with the Ring App installed, try signing into your Ring account on there and setting up the Doorbell Wired to see if you run into this same message.
