Hi all, I am writing this post because I’m experiencing issues with my Ring Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) since a few weeks. It has worked correctly for over 6 months, nothing changed within my network but I just started experiencing the issues since a few weeks. The issues are: - Live View does not work most of the time: whenever I open the app or open the ring.com website and try to access the Live View, it either keeps loading or it tries to load and gives me an error that the doorbell does not have a good wifi connection. If I try for example ten times in one hour, it loads correctly one time at best. - Doorbell appears offline sometimes - Pressing the doorbell does not always ‘activate’ the linked Chime Now the first thing I have tried was resetting the doorbell to factory settings. This didn’t work at all since I couldn’t connect to any network anymore. I spoke to Ring support and they sent me a new one. However, when I received the new one yesterday, I tried installing it and although I can connect to the network, I am again facing the same issues I had with my old doorbell (Live View not loading/doorbell offline). I tried a lot of things: - Restarted my router (TP Link Deco X50) - Resetted my router to factory settings - Checked signal strength, which is RSSI -46 - Swapped Deco main router with another unit - Tried modifying settings in my router: giving the Ring a static IP, disabling mesh technology for the Ring, setting a connection preference (frequency to 2.4.Ghz) and a preferred Deco unit (the one which is nearest to the doorbell, located 1.5m away from the doorbell), disabled beamforming, disabled fast roaming. Nothing worked.  - Tried setting up the Ring with another router However, I keep having the issues no matter what I try. It’s very frustrating because the doorbell does not always ring when someone is at the front door and I cannot see the Live View when I want to (for example when motion is detected). Other devices work perfectly though, such as phones, tablets, tv’s, smart speakers etc. It is just the doorbell which is not functioning correctly. Does anyone know what I could try to resolve this issue? I don’t think it has anything to do with my network, since nothing has changed, it has always worked reliably in the 6 months prior to the issues. Kind regards
