Ring MAC ID already being used
I have purchased a ring video doorbell from Tesco and I have gone to register it and it says the ID is already in use ? Any idea on what to do.

When this happens, you will want to follow the [Change of Ownership](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025997592-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device) process to properly setup your Ring device. If you've attempted setups already, the previous owner will receive a message requesting them to release ownership.
