Ring doorbell won't charge but still recording
Our Ring doorbell won't charge. It's not hard-wired & we charge it as & when necessary. I put it on charge for a few hours but when disconnected from the charger the blue light goes out & the charge still shows as 12%. I have tried resetting the doorbell with the orange button for 20 seconds but that hasn't helped. I have also uninstalled & reinstalled the app in case it was that (it wasn't...) It does still record some stuff but you can't look at the live view as the battery is too low. Any suggestions?

Hi @PlanetERF! When connecting the USB to charge, you mentioned seeing a blue light? This is a good indicator that the USB is being recognized and the Doorbell is attempting to charge. After charging for several hours, your Ring app should update the device health. I recommend charging with the standard Ring USB via a standard home outlet. The next best step is to remove and reinstall the Ring app on your mobile device. This will ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device. Once the above is complete, the Ring app should update with the proper battery reading. I hope this helps! :)
