Ring Video Doorbell
Ring doorbell pro does not ring in-home chime
Recently installed Video doorbell pro, attached power kit to existing mechanical doorbell, connected the doorbell and all is well, except the in-home doorbell does not work. Doorbell setting is setup to ring in-home chime. When I remove the cover of indoor doorbell and press the button on doorbell, I can see the in-home chime trying to move the mechanical arm but not enough to hit the plate. I am wondering if the power kit is perhaps bad? Ring doorbell is reporting that the voltage from the transformer is at 13v, which is good. Anything else to try?

Hi @harry_kris. Check that the Pro Power Kit is installed correctly, according to the instructions found here. This is important, as it's necessary to ensure your Wired Doorbell Plus (formerly known as the Doorbell Pro) is receiving sufficient power. It seems like your transformer may not be providing enough power for both the Ring Doorbell and the chime kit. The Wired Doorbell Plus requires a transformer providing XXXX VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz.
