My ring doorbell does not work unless it is plugged in to charge. It says it’s charged 100% and works fine when plugged in, but when I take it off charging, it doesn’t work. On the app it says the device is offline. I have tried troubleshooting and disconnecting and connecting to the WiFi, but nothing has worked.

Hi @user_96a12f. After fully charging the battery, try resetting the Ring Doorbell by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Once the reset is complete, walk through a new setup in the Ring app with the steps under Set Up a Device. If the Doorbell is still not responsive after trying these steps, it would be best to contact our support team for further assistance.
