Ring doorbell not connecting to Fios g3100 router

I recently upgraded my fios router from g1100 to g3100.  Ring doorbell is not connecting to the router.  I'm trying to connect on the 2.4GHz frequency (not 5 ).  I've disabled SON Any thoughts/insights into the issue is much appreciated

      All recommendations found online I followed but did not work. I downloaded the Verizon G3100 manual , went to page 42 and bounced the 2.4 Ghz. Retried connecting the ring doorbell and it worked, so with my other cameras.
