Ring Doorbell Gen 2 Want to get Ring Only Notifications
I live in a complex that only allows video doorbells to work when someone pushes the doorbell button (not via motion detection). I can't seem to get a notification on my iphone 13 mini when someone pushes the bell and I have the ring alerts toggled on but the motion detection and motion alerts toggled off. I have checked all my iphone notification and Ring app settings. There must be others who have the same issue/question. Can anyone help?

I deleted the app. restarted the iphone. Downloaded the app again. Checked that all notifications (both on the iphone and ring app) we on. Tried again. No alert. The doorbell rings but no text alert to the phone. If I turn on motion detection and motion alerts I get a banner notification for the mot

J@user_5625be. You don't need a subscription to get ring notifications. If the steps didn't help, the next best step is to give our support team a call to further investigate this with you.

Hi @user_5625be. Try also uninstalling and reinstalling the Ring app to see if it helps. We also have this Help Center page with other steps you can try. I hope this helps.
