Ring Doorbell 2 Night Vision not working

Question

Ring doorbell 2 is absolutely useless at night.  Image just looks pitch black, all i can see is some lights from my neighbors house across the street.  I also have two lights right in front of my door, one being on top of the doorbell, so the area is pretty well lit.

Hi @petepax. If there's a light directly above the Ring Doorbell, this could be preventing it from properly activating the night vision. Try turning the light off above your Doorbell, then test out a motion event or Live View at night to test the night vision. If it's still not turning on at night, try performing a [reboot](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-Rebooting-your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera) using the reboot option on the Device Health page.
