Ring Device with New Fiber Optic internet connection
I purchased my Ring device December 2020, and have had no issues until my internet went to fiber optics a few months ago. Since then, I have tried to reconnect my Ring device to my internet/modem, and it is unable to do so. I am wondering if the new fiber optic internet speed is now incompatible with the Ring device due to its age. If yes, is there a way that Ring will give a discount for the purchase of a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. My router adjusts to the device. The hard wired on goes through the set up mode but won’t connect.

Hi @thecanadianhillbilly. What is the specific issue you are running into when trying to connect your device? You may need to adjust some settings on your network, but this will depend on the error you are getting when trying to connect.
