Reviewing Video History Without A Subscription
I am finding conflicting information about how long Ring DoorBell footage is stored before being deleted. If I have no subscription, is it still possible to review footage from a day or week earlier for crime reporting for example? As I am retiring I have to question the annual cost of a subscription but do not want to lose the ability to provide valuable footage should the need arise.

Hi @user_137ffc. An active Ring subscription is required for access to video recording. Videos are only stored in the Ring app for as long as your video storage time is set, which can be up to 180 days. Without an active subscription, nothing will be recorded. Any videos you previously had before your plan ends or is canceled will be deleted. If you decide to no longer have a subscription, I'd recommend downloading any videos you wish to keep to your phone or computer before canceling.
