Replacement Doorbell Out of Stock _ TOTAL JOKE CUSTOMER SERVICE
On January 2, 2025, I called ring since my Video Doorbell 2nd Generation stopped working. After working with customer service, I was told the device seemed "dead" and was under warrantee, so they would send me a replacement. I got the shipping label and sent my defective doorbell back. It is now January 24, 2025, and I have not received the replacement. So today I called to get a status of my shipment. After a long time on hold. I was told my device was out of stock. I could not get a date when it would be in stock. I could not get a different product as my replacement. I was told I needed to wait until stock is replenished. NO DATE GIVEN FOR THAT. So, I have no ideas how long it will take. In the meantime, I have wires exposed by my front door. When I asked how long I needed to wait to call back for information, I was told to call back on January 31, 2025. It was even suggested that I waited too long to call about status. Felt they were trying to make this my fault for not calling sooner. This is a joke for reasonable customer service.
