Problems with Motion Distance

Hello, I purchased and installed Doorbell 3. I'm having problems with the motion feature. I have a walkway that is approximately 15 feet away from my door. Ring doorbell is picking up anyone walking on that walkway. I tried to adjust the distance but I see the shortest distance is 5 to 15 feet. Can I adjust it any shorter without turning off motion all together? My previous doorbell was the original Ring doorbell and I was able to adjust the motion distance. Was that feature removed in Doorbell 3? Why?
