Hello, New Ring user here. I replaced an Xfinity doorbell cam with a Ring Doorbell Wired. It’s literally in the same position, angle, everything. But I can’t see a thing in the driveway like I could with the Xfinity unit. Any advice? Ive adjusted the motion areas and done all I can with settings that I’m aware of. Unfortunately I can’t move it as the wiring is original and tight in the door frame. Thanks.

Hi @user_8c4a97. The reason the background is so dark is because of how the light is reflecting off the wall to the right side of it. Your Doorbell is too close to the wall. To fix this, you can add a Corner Kit to the back of the Doorbell to angle it away from the wall. This page has Corner Kits available for purchase. Make sure you get the correct one for your Doorbell model.
