Hello I received as a gift my 2nd Generation ring video door bell but I am not receiving any sounds for motion or ring notifications could you please help as this is all completely new to me

Hi @user39423. Are you receiving notifications on your phone for motion and ding alerts? These will come through as a push notification. The volume for notifications on your phone would be controlled in your phone settings specifically. Try checking your phone's settings app and looking at the options in the sounds section.
