Here is our Change of Ownership process Help Center article https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-I-Would-Like-to-Take-Over-Change-Ownership-of-Ring-Devices The prior owner should be able to remove the Ring device from their account/ ownership.
