Neighbor feature showing old events as new

I've noticed within the last month or so that the neighborhood section of the app is showing multiple past events as new. I've opened and viewed these events already but for some reason it keeps showing past viewed events under the "new" section. How do I fix this???

Hey there @369963. If the Neighbors portion of the Ring App is not updating appropriately, I'd recommend uninstalling the Ring App, restarting your phone to clear the cache, and reinstalling the Ring App. After this, try refreshing the Neighbors portion again. My ring app also shows new event, so I deleted the app, restarted my phone, reinstalled the ring app. I just had a new event come in and I deleted it after I read it. IT STILL SHOWS 1 NEW EVENT WHEN THERE AREN'T ANY. wfj

Hi @sameasyours. Thank you for trying those steps! Next, check to make sure that your phones OS is to date. Also, make sure that your Neighbors app is up to date. I would also trying clearing the notification on and off wifi to see if that changes the new event. Let me know if this works!
