Ring Video Doorbell
Need my 5 digit pin code
My Ring Doorbell dropped off my wifi. I want to reconnect but it wants the 5 digit pin off the device. I can't find the card that came with the device and I would have to take it off the wall to get the pin off the device itself. Is there another way to get that pin code?

were you ever able to solve this problem? Customer service said there is no way to have this pin unless doorbell removed. when removed, there is a qr code - but no 5 digit pin.

I had this same issue. The QR code is on the back of the Ring doorbell. If the doorbell is already mounted on the wall, take it down, and you’ll see it.

I have the qr code in my paperwork, but it just takes me to my ring app. What do I do with that? I need the 5digit code to reconnect.

This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to unmount the doorbell and the two floodlights to get the pin to change the wifi password. There must be another way.

Hi @sassy_red. If you no longer have the original packaging that came with the Doorbell, then you will have to get the 5 digit pin off of the Doorbell itself. I would recommend taking a picture of this, that way you can have it readily available, if needed.
