Mounting (first timer)

Trying to determine the most appropriate placement of my new ring for optimum performance.  My front porched is recessed by a couple of feet from the front of the home creating a small alcove of sorts. My question is would mounting within the alcove present any view blockage from the extension of the wall ? Any suggestion welcome. Thank you !!
