Hi @4133. As long as there is a motion event within range, this event should be captured and recorded if you are subscribed to a Protect Plan. I recommend checking through your Timeline or Event History in the Ring app to confirm there are no events or Snapshots happening. If you are certain there is movement in the area at night, try changing your [Motion Settings](https://community.ring.com/t/caitlyn-s-guide-to-optimizing-your-doorbell-s-motion-detection/48107) and testing during night time hours to see if any adjustments are necessary. Please also ensure that you do not have a Motion Schedule, Modes, or Motion Snooze enabled during these times. I hope this helps!
