Map so out of date

I’ve just bought Battery Video Doorbell Pro + Solar Charger (2nd Gen) And going through the setup process is a setting called 3D Birds Eye view, which is basically a satellite image of your location. My house along with 12 other houses around me have been here for 7+ years but the map/satellite shows what was here years ago. It’s so out of date there’s no point in offering the 3D option without changing to a more up to date version?? Has anyone else found this problem? I can’t be the only one.

Hi @Glider. Bird’s Eye View and Bird’s Eye Zones use a map that is provided by Mapbox, a third-party developer tool. The map might not match if your home was recently built or renovated, or is located in a rural location. The satellite images that Mapbox provides might sometimes be out of date with recent major additions or improvements to a property. Another option you can use is the vector map, available in the first step of the Bird’s Eye Zone setup. Details that might be on a satellite map, such as sidewalks, driveways, or foliage, will not be seen in a vector map. To switch to Vector mode in the Ring app, follow the below steps: Tap on the ☰ menu in the upper left Tap on Devices. Tap on the compatible Ring device. Tap on Motion Settings. Tap on Bird’s Eye Zones. Tap on Detection Location. Tap the layer icon in the upper right corner of the map during setup or while changing detection location.
