Ring Video Doorbell
Live video streaming works on iPhone 11 but not new IPad Pro
So I have been using ring doorbells for many years. Accessed via my iPhone or Via iPad. No problem through the years. I purchased a new iPad Pro recently and I get all the notifications and I can go back after the fact and see the video. But no live video streaming. But - it still works on the iPhone. Any ideas? 218mps

I have exactly the same problem. Live view works on iPhone 12 and iPad Air but not iPad Pro. I tried the Rapid Ring app and it works fine in that on all three devices. Looks like a code bug to me.

Same here. Used to work fine on the iPad and my iphone 13. Just today, I went to use iPad, and it has streaming error, but works fine on iphone.

Unfortunately, for a while, there have been KNOWN problems relating to the use of the Ring app Live View feature on iPad devices (using WiFi). These problems were EASILY and CONSISTENTLY reproducible. More recently, the symptoms seemingly became more complex. These problems were also EASILY and CONSISTENTLY reproducible. Surprisingly, today, I was able to successfully perform a Live View on the first try. Of course, at this point, it's too soon to know if Ring finally fixed all of the problems. Is the Live View feature suddenly working on anyone else's iPad device(s)? If you are still experiencing problems, which iPadOS version of the Ring app are you using? Also, are you using the latest iPadPro hardware... or an older generation? Finally, are you using cellular or Wifi?

Hi @Mrmarket. When viewing on your iPad, are you on wifi or cellular data? I would also check to see if you have an active VPN, as this could cause a disruption. Also, try Live View from the Rapid Ring app to see if that makes a difference.
