Life view and doorbell alerts fail
Hi folks, I have two floodlight cams and a doorbell plus, along with a chime pro and alarm on my home system. Some months ago the doorbell intermittently stopped sending alerts and rings to the chime and other devices when triggered. At the same time live video stopped working. Ring replaced it. Then within a week the same intermittent faults happened to the new unit, and again ring replaced it. It's now happening again. And now the issue has spread to one of my fixed cameras. Looking into connectivity more closely, I can see the doorbell (and camera) are associated with my wifi. They have decent connectivity and I can ping them. I have made several packet captures when trying to initiate love view from the app, and I can see each device is successfully communicating with the Ring cloud infrastructure. From the app - I can also see the camera and doorbell are "online", have good RSSI strength, and pass recent health check. With the floodlight cam, I can also turn the lights on and off from the app. I.e. this is not a local network connectivity problem. Is it possible there is some stale session information in the Ring cloud, or bad config that is preventing my units from working full time? How can I get the looked at in detail? When I call the help line, they are great and helpful but I don't want yet another doorbell sending out to me as it's not going to fix this issue.
