Jumper cable installed after ring doorbell

I installed the jumper cable after I already had installed the doorbell. I thought I wasn't going to want it hooked up to my old chime but changed my mind later on. The chime doesn't go off when the doorbell rings though. How can I fix this?

Hi @user3579. Which model of Ring Doorbell do you have? If you have the [Video Doorbell Wired](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-wired), it will not ring your internal chime kit. To hear audio alerts in your home, you can pair the Video Doorbell Wired with a Ring Chime or compatible Alexa device. I hope this helps clear things up. :)
