I can hear people on the camera video but they cant hear me

So i bought a ring generation 1 a few years ago and just put it up at our new place. Our old place didnt have internet but we do now. I have an Android phone. When i open the ring app to view what is happening outside. My son will ring the door bell if i am at work to talk about something but i can hear him clearly but he cant hear me..... what can i do to fix it??

Hi @user56785. When you activate the Live View, make sure you're tapping on the microphone icon to unmute the microphone. Once you do that, he should be able to hear what you're saying into your phone's microphone. I hope that helps!
