I bought both the Ring Video doorbell 2 with the solar charge 2 and it doesn't go together

I bought both the Ring Video doorbell 2 with the solar charge 2 and it doesn't go together. I have read the instructions and it talks about a set screw at the bottom. I wasn't sure so I went online and saw a video...my Gen 2 doorbell has no set screw at the bottom and the mounting holes do not fit the mounting holes of the solar changer.
