How do I install wired ring doorbell if the wall space is shorter?

 Like the image, the widget attached electrical wires is 3.5 inches long, which is 1 inch shorter than the ring doorbell. What is the best way to install the wired doorbell in this case?

Hi @Ezy. I've seen some neighbors mention using a cut piece of wood as a sort of mounting plate to install their Doorbell onto in different situations. Other neighbors may chime in here if they've installed their Doorbell in a similar setup to what you have, as I don't have any official suggestions here.
