Help connecting Sky Max SR213 to Video Doorbell Pro Wired
Swapped from BT to Sky BB due to the much better upload speeds possible but I cannot now get my Ring Pro doorbell to connect to the Sky Max SR213. I used to work in the BB product line so quite adept with the technical side and have tried various options playing about with the dual band. Lots of chat in various forums saying the problem is the AI Sky have implemented on the security and a firmware update was due last January.Just wondered if anyone has solved it. I did wonder whether I could create a second 2.4GHz network just to serve the doorbell.The new router like the old one is a few feet from the front door and the signals don’t need to pass through any walls.Many thanks.

Hi @user81683. I’m not sure if you’re receiving a particular error message or if it’s indicating a wifi issue, but we have some troubleshooting steps for setup failures here that may help. I’d also suggest checking that the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are open on your network, if you haven’t done so already. Creating a guest network utilizing only the 2.4GHz network is also a good troubleshooting step to help isolate what the issue is.
