Failure to capture movement.

I am not seeing everything at my door. I could see Amazon pull up, but did not see them coming up my steps dropping off package nor leaving. When I opened the door to get it, I could see that on camera. What do I need to do to fix this problem? The camera is useless if it is not picking up movement at my door.
