Doorbell Pro Blue light inop
I have a battery Doorbell Pro. I purchased it maybe six weeks ago. Someone told me the doorbell does not light up, so I tested it. I did some Internet research on the subject and here is what I am told: The Internet says the blue circle light should light up when it detects motion. Mine does not. The literature even tells how to get it to light up upon motion, but after following all the steps it still does not light (only once the doorbell is pressed). I've done all the resets, reinstalling the Phone App, singing songs to it, etc. The Doorbell is in a dark area so having it light up would be a help guiding people as to where to press. The literature even says that if you cannot get it to work, contact Ring Support. I called Ring Support yesterday and was told that none of the Ring Doorbells have the blue circle light come on once it detects motion. I am confused. Have I been singing to it unnecessarily?
