Doorbell 2nd Gen - Capturing when disconnected?

Hello! I have a a Doorbell 2nd gen but on Saturday it randomly disconnected from the WiFi and hasn’t been back online since. It’s still powered up though. Unfortunately, about half hour after it lost WiFi we had a bicycle theft right in front of it. If I can get it reconnected, is there any chance it will have detected motion and stored anything locally and upload footage? I know some of the cameras have a small local buffer but can find zero information about whether the Doorbell 2nd gen has any form of internal limited storage.

Hi @thisiscowboy. Your Ring Doorbell will not record motion if it's disconnected from the wifi. There is no local storage on the Video Doorbell, so an internet connection is required for events to be recorded and viewable in the Ring app.
