hi, my existing mechanical chime is deta C3504 which i know is not in the compatibility list, however, if i connect the power cable of the existing doorbell push to the Ring video doorbell, will the Ring Video Doorbell working if i install a Ring Chime in the house?

thank you, i think i need to acquire an ac transformer as the DETA web site has information that my existing chime kit only provide 6V power to the push which is far from needed to operate ring door bell.

Hi @Q6hsjow. If you do not have a compatible chime kit, you will not be able to hardwire your Ring Doorbell to your existing wiring. Hardwiring a Doorbell to a chime kit that is not compatible can be a safety concern.
