Custom Motion Zone, without cutting record time

Hi,I have a 2nd Gen Doorbell and honestly it's been great but.... I'm missing things that I should be getting.I have advanced motion detection on, so that I can set a custom zone that excludes the busy path and road outside my house. But does include my pathway and part of my driveway.Trouble is it grabs the people that come into the zone, but the moment they walk away it stops recording. Even though clips are set to 90 secs. This means, if someone grabs something from my front door, I wouldn't see where it went etc.Surely this can be changed?
