Connecting corner Bracket to solar charger

I just purchased Ring video doorbell Gen 4 and with it I got a corner unit and a solar charger. Built into the solar charger are 6 threaded steel inserts which allow you to connect the doorbell to the solar charger. Why are the same threaded steel inserts not built into the corner unit so that you could attach the corner unit to the wall then the solar unit to it and finally the doorbell to the solar unit. Has anyone come across this before and how did you solve it
