Can a shared user hide themselves from motion detection?

Someone I live with I made them a shared user now every time they come or go the ring doesn't notify me, why is that?

Hi @Renwaldo. No, a Shared User cannot hid themselves from motion detection. I suggest starting with your Notification preferences and your [Motion Frequency](https://community.ring.com/t/how-to-set-your-motion-frequency/4237). You can also check to see if [Modes](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-your-Ring-Cameras-with-Modes) is a factor here. Some Modes can Snooze notifications. You can always check your history to view any events that happened, even if you didn't get a Notification for it.
