Hi @user15145. You can use the [Motion Snooze](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000047206-How-to-Use-Motion-Snooze-and-Global-Snooze) feature to temporarily silence notifications from your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera for a specified amount of time. This would work great for when you're outside for a few hours and don't want to be alerted of motion, and your Ring Doorbell or Camera will still record as well.
