Camera Motion Zone Ignored

I have set up a camera motion zone, but the Ring video doorbell still alerts when there’s motion outside the zone (my neighbours coming and going). I have Ring Alerts, Motion Detection, and Motion Alerts enabled. Is there something else I need to do for this to work?

Hi @dkendall. Navigate to the Device Health page and perform a reboot using the reboot option at the bottom of the page. Once the reboot is done, try adjusting your Motion Zones to maybe reduce the size slightly. If you have stairs leading up to your doorbell, you might also want to consider a Wedge Kit to angle the Doorbell’s view downwards more. If motion is consistently being detected outside of your designated Motion Zones, I’d recommend following up with our support team to investigate this further.
