My Ring doorbell works for sometimes a day and sometimes for a few hours. If I remove the battery an put it back in again it starts working again. Is there any way I can fix this fault.

My ring doorbell 3 is having the exact problem. Instead of making a new post, I’ll explain my problem here. This all started a couple months ago, prior to that it worked fine. “My 2 year old doorbell has started going offline and it becomes unresponsive when pressing the main button. It’s like it has shutdown. If I remove the battery and put it right back in, it reboots and connects just fine. I have multiple batteries and it shuts down with all of them so the battery isn’t the problem. This last incident happened with a 95% charged battery. My router is just a few feet away, the RSSI is -35, so I have a good connection. I have an indoor cam on the same network that works flawlessly. They each have their own dedicated IP addresses. I’ve hard reset it by pressing the orange button and began the setup process from scratch. The firmware is up to date and health says clean bill of health. It’s a hassle because if I’m away from home or out of town, I’m without a cam until I get back home to reboot it. Help.”

I have the same issue and an looking for a solution. I've bought a cable to hardwire it but realised that it still needs the battery to operate so don't think it is going to help my problem

Mine just started this nonsense for the past two weeks it has gone offline 4 times. Pressing the orange button does nothing so it is not wifi issue plus the strength is great out there.

My battery keeps physically disconnecting. When my Ring doorbell goes offline, I have to physically reconnect it. This has nothing to do with my wi-fi. I bought extra batteries as well, thinking that the batteries were malfunctioning. I bought another Ring doorbell also. Same thing happened. I feel like gravity keeps physically disconnecting my battery for instead of it sitting on the connector it is hanging from the connector.
