The question was not answered and I have the same question. how do you get the recording older than XXXX days, if we can't do that, say that Amazon does not keep data passed XXXX day. not this convoluted and cryptic response of180 days unless you delete them

CHi @user_938596. The marked solution addresses this concern. With an active Ring subscription, videos are kept in the Ring app until they are either manually deleted, or the video storage time expires. Currently, 180 days is the longest video storage time option available. If you need to save a video longer than the max video storage time option, we recommend downloading the video to your phone or computer. Once a video has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. There are no backups stored in order to protect your privacy.

Hi @user26581. An active Ring subscription is required for access to video recording, and it does not apply retroactively to events that occurred before you subscribed. Recordings can be stored for up to 180 days in the Ring app, unless you have deleted the recordings or you have your video storage time set to something shorter than the 180 days. Keep in mind that once a recording has been deleted, it is permanently removed and there is no way to retrieve it. I hope you find this information useful.
