Ring Security Cameras
Wired flood light video discolored
These camera's are beside one another facing the same direction. One has turned pink shaded this year the other is fine still. Both installed the same day. I can only assume the pink one must be catching direct sunlight. (I dont know). If this is the case, is there any recommendation to reduce the sun impact? Maybe adding tint over then lense? Is it uv impact? Or is it just an abnormal defect?

Hi @Zippa713. A discolored hue on your Security Camera is usually caused by the IR filter getting stuck. First, try rebooting your Camera in the Ring app by following the steps below: 1. Tap on the three lines on the top left in the Ring app to open the Menu 2. Tap **Devices** and select your Floodlight Cam 3. Tap on **Device Health** 4. Scroll down on the **Device Health** screen to **Tools** 5. Tap **Reboot this Device** The reboot may take a few minutes. If that doesn't correct the discolored hue, you can fully reset your Floodlight Cam by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, complete a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device.
